You run your online business on an autopilot and it generates a substantial amount of income for you every month. “Active” income, however, is the income you receive from your full/part time job – if you do not go to work, you will not get paid. It’s as simple as that.

2. Online business can help you create a sense of living
You see – nothing is secure today. Your job security and monthly salary may be affected by factors such as economic crisis, disease outbreak, etc. Wouldn’t you want to generate alternate stream of income so that, when situations like this really happen, you have something to fall back on?
